SpectraWAVE Hires 2 Execs to Its Leadership Team

Brad Davis was appointed chief commercial officer, and Bill Kelly was named chief financial officer of the company.

SpectraWAVE, a medical imaging company focused on coronary artery disease (CAD), has added two executives to its leadership team.

Brad Davis was appointed chief commercial officer (CCO), and Bill Kelly was named chief financial officer (CFO).

Davis touts more than 24 years of cardiovascular medical device experience. He worked at both small and large companies, including Guidant, Boston Scientific, and CSI. Davis was most recently CCO of OpSens, which was acquired by Haemonetics.

“I am thrilled to join SpectraWAVE at such a pivotal moment in its journey,” said Davis. “The newly launched HyperVue Imaging System provides incredible value to patients, and will serve as a central hub in the cath lab for future enhancements, allowing us to further partner with customers and significantly improve outcomes for patients with coronary artery disease.”

Kelly joins the company from Vicarious Surgical, where he was CFO and successfully took the company public. Before that, He was CFO at Exosome Diagnostics, which was acquired by Bio-Techne.

“SpectraWAVE has built a powerful imaging platform in a critical area of healthcare—management of coronary artery disease,” said Kelly. “I’m excited to join the team during an exciting period of growth and collaborate across the organization to ensure we have the resources and infrastructure to meet our short- and long-term objectives.”

“The addition of these exceptional leaders to our team represents an exciting inflection point for SpectraWAVE as we enter the new year,” said Eman Namati, Ph.D., CEO of SpectraWAVE. “The response to our recently launched HyperVue Imaging System for optimizing coronary stenting procedures in the catheterization lab has been tremendous. As we plan to expand our commercial footprint and product portfolio, bringing Brad and Bill onto the team is a vital step towards ensuring our success. Their combined expertise in commercialization and financial management will be instrumental in advancing our mission to improve patient outcomes, empower physicians, and create long-term value for our shareholders, building on the momentum of our $50M Series B funding.”
